We look out as if we are looking into a gigantic fishbowl,

watching wide-eyed at the movement and growth and change in

the landscape around us. This is our Portland fishbowl, our Portland bubble.

There is comfort in knowing that even the things we can’t see still exist.

Rain is in the forecast soon, so we’ll sit and take in this scene until then.

A taste of summer is in our midst – dinner on the patio, hummingbirds flitting about, stars above, lawnmowers with sun up. It’s a good day here in Portland.
